  I started going to Emi because as a medical aesthetician my preference is to have well manicured nails. I fell down the rabbit hole of perpetual acrylics and inevitably over time getting my nails redone had damaged my nail beds and made me dependent on keeping them done. I was also frustrated with the inconsistent quality of local nail shops. Prices are high and I was never really happy with the look of my nails. They drill aggressively and do not even pay attention to your cuticles and upcharge for everything! After 2 years of acrylic overlay I went to emi for my first set with my natural nail length long and assuming she would not be able to salvage my nails. She did! After 3 sets my nails are completely regrown and I am excited to say I am going to remove the structured gel to let my nails breathe and to have my nails back makes me so happy. Although I love Emi and the quality of her service and will definitely be back I hated the fact that I felt married to nails because underneath the acrylic was brittle and sore. With Emi that is never the case. She takes her time and is meticulous with her services, never rushing you out of her chair. She is knowledgeable which makes her equipped to maintain the integrity of your nails in the process of creating beautiful work, which makes your experience one you are able to do by choice which will keep you coming back!
